Aubright sets the gold standard in plastic fabrication of custom components, products and display fixtures for the retail/visual merchandising, manufacturing (OEM) and powersports markets. Along with CNC machining, Aubright brings sophisticated craftsmanship to a wide array of equipment capabilities including drape forming, vacuum forming, digital and screen printing.
We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector on 1st shift.
Essential Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads and interprets the job tickets, drawings, and specification, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
- Observes and asks co-workers questions pertaining to job requirements.
- Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Records inspections of products which meet and fail to meet standards.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Performs inspections using required calibrated measuring devices to match part against print.
- Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
- Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing Experience – in quality or production role
- Read/interpret shop drawings and papers.
- Able to understand and execute basic written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to accurately read and measure with standard measuring devices, such as tape measures, calipers, and radius gages.
- Ability to use problem solving techniques and skills.
This is a 1st shift position: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
